EXPERIENCE      

1994 - Present   A to Z Indexing, Bibliographic and Research Services.  Provide computer-assisted

Freelance         indexing for a variety of clients.  Write captions for book illustrations. Recent research

Indexer             projects include completely updating a 600 page almanac using various sources such as

Researcher       2000 U.S. census data. Other projects include being team leader on a project that

                        created 150,000 internal links for the electronic edition of Encyclopedia Americana and another that developed an electronic thesaurus for the Internet by creating a classification scheme for several reference books. Directed electronic research efforts for a team producing 3 weekly newsletters for a major international pharmaceutical company. 

                         

1986-1991         Clark University - Center for Technology, Environment and Development. Provided

Research          information in a highly specialized graduate research library; duties included database

Librarian          creation and maintenance, using various software packages, on-line searching using OCLC and Dialog. 

                         

1985-1986         University of Massachusetts Medical Center - Center on Aging.  Complete responsi-

1983-1985         Fitchburg Public Library. Position included funding, coordinating and producing
